Adam Schiff Is At It Again, The House Intelligence Committee Chair Is Going After President Trump With A New Investigation, This Time On His Response To Coronavirus

California Rep. Adam “Shifty” Schiff wants to politicize anything and everything he can get his hands on and use it against the president.

His latest despicable attempt at politicization is to use the coronavirus pandemic to attack President Donald Trump.

At a time when Americans, Democrats and Republicans, are advising that we come together Schiff wants legislation to investigate the president’s response to the pandemic.

He was speaking to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell when he said that President Trump did not take the virus seriously and the beginning which, he said, caused “catastrophic consequences.”

“Mitch McConnell said he thinks the arrest trial in the Senate slowed the federal government’s response to the pandemic. What is your response to that?” O’Donnell asked Schiff.

“Yes, the President said something similar, which, you know, was an interesting acknowledgment that the administration gave that answer,” Schiff said.

“The facts are clear that the president’s weeks, maybe the months, to take it seriously, it has had catastrophic consequences that we are only beginning to see now.,” he said.

“They must stop making excuses. The President found much time even during his detention trial and the period after playing golf, going on vacation to Mar-a-Lago for campaign meetings.

“No he was distracted from doing the things he enjoys doing, but the biggest problem is that, after the trial, the president went on for weeks and weeks, saying that this is no problem, he has it under control, he has content, and that wouldn’t have a big impact on the country.

“Of course, he ignored the advice of health experts, epidemiologists, the CDC, his own people with catastrophic consequences,” he said.

Schiff made the same argument on Twitter, calling for a 9/11 style commission to investigate the president’s response.

“After Pearl Harbor and 9/11, we looked at what went wrong to learn from our mistakes,” he said in the tweet.

“Once we’ve recovered, we need a nonpartisan commission to review our response and how we can better prepare for the next pandemic. I’m working on a bill to do that,” he said.

“I don’t think I would have done any better if I had not been impeached,” the president said at his briefing on Tuesday.

“I don’t think I would have acted any differently, or I don’t think I would have acted any faster,” he said.

“Did it divert my attention? I think I’m getting A-pluses for the way I handled myself during a phony impeachment,” he said. “But certainly I guess I thought of it.”

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and other Democrats have pushed politics aside during this crisis.

But to Rep. Schiff it is another opportunity for more investigations of the president and perhaps another impeachment.
